The Farm Again
The last couple days in this painting surge, I could only push some 4×4 inchers. Winding down to rest.
Delicate Still
The Asian in me soaks this one up. The delicate manipulation of nature within depth, I especially appreciate in Eastern Art. 8×8
Abstract/Real
This is my favorite of the trees. I love the color, and the balance between realism and abstractionism. There is a mystical side that calls me in this piece, important. 8×8
Color to Form to Space
Here is part of what turned into a little tree series. I have often leaned toward this motif in the past, fascinated by foliage, facing off with light and atmosphere. This series, I was minimally inspired in the idea realm, though I felt I should paint…so I leaned on this old theme. Mustered will and magic. 8×8
Spring Aspens
A fabricated Spring-Time, actually it is Spring, though very different here in Mexico. I was thinking it was winter, ha. 8×8
